Mission, British Columbia — According to the RCMP, Belinda Gurtrude Williams was last seen in Mission, BC. on July 1, 1976. However, she wasn't reported missing until February 2004.

Williams' father and sister claim to have last seen her in Vancouver, yet the Stl'Atl'imx Tribal Police in Mt. Currie, BC. investigation revealed that Belinda was last seen in Mission.

Loralei Williams, Belinda's niece, started a dance group in 2011 called Butterflies in Spirit to raise awareness about Canada's Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

Belinda's Physical Description

Date of Birth: 1952.

Age at Time of Disappearance: 24 years old.

Height and Weight: 5'2"; 117 lbs.

Race: Indigenous.

Gender: Female.

Distinguishing Characteristics: She has a "B" tattoo on the webbing of her right hand." She has a scar below one eye and one on her right arm. She has a crooked right little finger.
